The Punisher

Mike Zeck is an American comic artist associated with some of Marvel’s defining mid-1980s storylines. He drew Jim Shooter’s twelve-issue Secret Wars (1984–85), J.M. DeMatteis’s celebrated Kraven’s Last Hunt (1987) and the 1986 Punisher limited series that launched the character as an ongoing franchise. Zeck’s firm, classical draughtsmanship and clear storytelling made him a benchmark artist of the period.
