Todd McFarlane

Todd McFarlane is a Canadian comic artist, writer and entrepreneur, one of the seven founders of Image Comics in 1992. His redesign of Spider-Man's webbing during his runs on The Amazing Spider-Man and the self-titled Spider-Man #1 (1990) — then the best-selling single-issue comic in history — reshaped the visual language of the character. His creator-owned Spawn, which he has continued to publish since 1992, is one of the longest-running creator-owned American comics.
