Paco Roca

Paco Roca is among the most internationally translated Spanish cartoonists of his generation. His graphic novel Arrugas (2007), a moving portrait of Alzheimer's disease in a care home, won Spain's National Comics Prize and was adapted into an award-winning animated feature. Subsequent works including La Casa, El invierno del dibujante and Regreso al Edén have extended his project of literary, historically grounded family storytelling. His clear-line style and emotional restraint set him apart in the contemporary Spanish and European scene.
