Mike Allred

Mike Allred is an American comic artist whose pop-art sensibility and love of Silver Age iconography shine through his long-running creator-owned series Madman. With writer Peter Milligan he produced the satirical Marvel series X-Force/X-Statix, and later with Dan Slott the acclaimed Silver Surfer. Allred's work, often coloured by his wife Laura Allred, is characterised by clean geometric linework and a joyous nostalgic charge.
