Eric Shanower

Eric Shanower is an American cartoonist and illustrator best known for his ambitious historical epic Age of Bronze (Image, from 1998) — an ongoing, deeply researched retelling of the Trojan War rendered in crisp black-and-white linework. He has also produced numerous adaptations of L. Frank Baum's Oz books, in partnership with Skottie Young. Shanower has received two Eisner Awards for Best Writer/Artist.
