Carlos Pacheco

Carlos Pacheco was one of the most accomplished Spanish artists to work in American mainstream comics. After beginning his career with Dark Guard and Star Trek, he drew acclaimed runs on X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers Forever and Mark Waid's Superman: Birthright. Pacheco's style was characterised by elegant draughtsmanship, ambitious staging and a devotion to classical heroic figuration; his inking was often completed by his long-time collaborator Jesús Merino.
