Brian Bolland

Brian Bolland is a British comic artist renowned for the precision and graphic clarity of his line. He rose to prominence drawing Judge Dredd in 2000 AD during the 1970s and '80s, co-created DC's Camelot 3000 (1982) with writer Mike W. Barr, and illustrated Alan Moore's Batman: The Killing Joke (1988) — one of the most widely read graphic novels in the medium. In later decades he became celebrated for his meticulous painted covers for titles including Animal Man and The Invisibles.
