Wolverine

Howard Chaykin is an American comic artist whose 1980s creator-owned series American Flagg! brought a politically satirical, design-forward sensibility to the American adult-comic market. His visual vocabulary — dense with typography, advertising pastiche and period pulp references — marked a sharp departure from the dominant superhero style of the era. Chaykin has also produced significant work on DC’s Blackhawk and The Shadow.
