About the artist

Terry Dodson

Terry Dodson is an American comic artist whose animated, curvaceous line and clean composition have made him one of the most recognisable mainstream cover and interior artists of his generation. Frequently inked by his wife Rachel Dodson, his work has included runs on Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Uncanny X-Men and Marvel’s Spider-Man/Black Cat.

About this series

X-Men

The X-Men, created in 1963 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, became a cultural phenomenon through Chris Claremont's seventeen-year writing tenure alongside artists including John Byrne, Dave Cockrum, Paul Smith and Marc Silvestri. Subsequent generations — Grant Morrison with Frank Quitely and Ethan Van Sciver, Jonathan Hickman's Krakoan era — have made the franchise one of the longest-running experimental projects in mainstream American comics.
