Iron Man
About the artist
Carmine Infantino
Carmine Infantino was a foundational figure of American comics, a principal architect of DC’s Silver Age. He reinvented The Flash (1956) with writer Robert Kanigher and editor Julius Schwartz, ushering in the Silver Age of DC superheroes, and went on to serve as DC’s Editorial Director and Publisher during the late 1960s and ’70s. His clean, geometrical draughtsmanship remained a reference long after his retirement.
