Hardboiled

Bruce Timm is an American animator and comic artist, best known as the co-creator and lead designer of Batman: The Animated Series (1992) and the wider DC Animated Universe. His streamlined, art-deco-inspired character design — developed with Paul Dini and others — became one of the most influential visual idioms in late-twentieth-century animation. His comics work, including the Eisner-winning one-shot Batman: Mad Love, extends that design language onto the printed page.
