Sergio Aragonés is one of the most distinctive humorist cartoonists of the twentieth century. Long associated with MAD magazine — where his signature “marginal” drawings have filled the edges of pages for six decades — he also created the long-running fantasy-comedy series Groo the Wanderer with writer Mark Evanier. Aragonés’s economical pen line, masterful visual storytelling and extraordinary speed have made him a Hall of Fame figure in the American comics industry.
