American
Rick Leonardi is an American comic-book artist whose lithe, kinetic figure work has been a Marvel mainstay since his debut in Thor #303 (1981). He drew the early Cloak and Dagger and Vision and the Scarlet Witch limited series with Bill Mantlo, contributed extensively to The Uncanny X-Men and The New Mutants, and — alongside Mike Zeck — designed Spider-Man’s black costume in 1984. From 1992 he was the regular penciller for the first 25 issues of Spider-Man 2099, the futuristic reimagining he co-created with Peter David.
