Pia Guerra is a Canadian comic artist best known as the co-creator and lead artist of Y: The Last Man (Vertigo, 2002–2008) with writer Brian K. Vaughan — a post-apocalyptic saga that won multiple Eisner Awards and was widely credited with reshaping American mainstream storytelling for the twenty-first century. Her clean, character-driven line gave the series its humane, emotionally grounded register.
