Paul Chadwick is an American comic artist best known for his long-running creator-owned series Concrete (Dark Horse, from 1986) — a contemplative, environmentally minded story about a writer trapped in a stone-like alien body. Chadwick’s quietly observational cartooning and literary sensibility have made Concrete a durable favourite of critics and readers since the early days of the direct market.
