Olivier Coipel is a French comic artist who became one of Marvel’s signature event artists in the 2000s and 2010s. His runs with writer Brian Michael Bendis on House of M and Siege, and with J. Michael Straczynski on the 2007 relaunch of Thor, established a restrained, classical sense of figure drawing and composition within the Marvel mainstream.
