Montse Martín is a Madrid-born comic artist who came to long-form comics from a twelve-year career in animation at Tridente, where she worked on series such as Papyrus and Cédric and on features including Astérix and the Vikings, Bécassine and El Cid. From 2006 she turned to bande dessinée, drawing the Talismán trilogy (2009–2011, scripts by François Debois) and Curiosity Shop (2011, with Teresa Valero) for Glénat France. She received the Best New Author award at Expocómic 2011.
