Juan Berrio is a Valladolid-born comic artist, illustrator and photographer, one of the leading Spanish voices of independent, everyday-life graphic literature. Across more than thirty years he has illustrated for Business Week, Newsweek, L’Expansion, El País, El Periódico de Catalunya and ABC, and published a series of acclaimed graphic novels — Siempre la misma historia (Astiberri, 2004), Dentro de nada (Astiberri, 2010), Miércoles (Sins Entido, 2012, winner of the V FNAC-Sins Entido Prize) and Kiosko (Dibbuks, 2014).
