Al Barrionuevo is an Argentinian comic-book artist who broke into the American market in 2002 as an exclusive penciller for DC Comics, where he worked on Batman: Gotham Knights among other titles. After his five-year DC run he moved to Marvel — drawing X-Men, Hulk Annual 2011, Avengers: Solo and Marvel Zombies Destroy — and to Valiant. With more than 140 issues to his credit, his solid, classically constructed pages have made him a dependable mainstream stylist for over two decades.
