Enrico Marini
Enrico Marini is a Swiss-Italian comic artist associated with the elite of contemporary Franco-Belgian bande dessinée. His long collaborations with writer Jean Dufaux on Rapaces and Le Scorpion, alongside his own Gipsy, established him as a master of painted colour and cinematic figuration. In 2017 he became the first European creator to publish an original Batman graphic novel for DC Comics, The Dark Prince Charming.

Rapaces
Rapaces (2000–2008) is the four-volume vampire thriller by writer Jean Dufaux and artist Enrico Marini. Set in contemporary New York, it follows the predatory families of a pan-European vampire aristocracy as they hunt each other through the city's nightlife. Marini's fully painted colour work and operatic composition confirmed him as one of the finest contemporary artists in Franco-Belgian comics.
