About the artist

Paul Gulacy

Paul Gulacy is an American comic artist whose 1970s run on Marvel’s Master of Kung Fu with writer Doug Moench became a Bronze Age touchstone, bringing a Steranko-influenced cinematic sensibility to martial-arts espionage storytelling. His subsequent work includes Eclipse’s Sabre and numerous DC and Marvel miniseries.

About this series

Conan the Barbarian

Conan the Barbarian, Robert E. Howard's Cimmerian warrior created in the 1932 pulps, has been a fixture of comics since Marvel's 1970 adaptation by writer Roy Thomas and artist Barry Windsor-Smith — later continued for a historic run by John Buscema. Countless artists across Marvel and Dark Horse have since contributed to the Hyborian Age, making Conan one of the most continuously illustrated literary characters in the medium.
