Alary has studied animation in the French school Ecole des Gobelins. He worked for ten years in the Disney animation studios in Montreuil, first as assistant to then become an animator. He worked in films like Tarzan. His first steps in the world of comics were with editions Vents d’Ouest in 1993. Collaborated with Didier Crisse in Griffin Dark, l’Alliance, under the pseudonym Stanley. In 2001, he created Les Échaudeurs des Ténèbres series with the publisher Soleil then continue in 2004 with the volumes of Belladonna (Dibbuks), with Ange as a screenwriter. Following the success of Sinbad, Silas Corey Alary series starts with writer Fabien Nury (both works published in Dibbuks). With Olivier Jouvray screenwriter Lincoln is released in the adaptation of Moby Dick, H. Melville’s classic.
